Frequently asked questions

  • How do I make changes to my current subscription?

    1. Sign in to My Account
    2. Instead of paying your renewal invoice, click on the package you are interested in purchasing (e.g. Create-Your-Own package) 
    3. Select the package you are interested in purchasing and your preferred seats.  Applicable subscriber discounted pricing will be available to you. 

    Note: If you are switching to another series, there is no guarantee that your same seats will be available. Current subscribers' to curated packages are guaranteed their seats until the renewal deadline. After the renewal deadline, any unrenewed seats will be released for sale.

  • How do I pay for my subscription in installments?

    As part of the checkout process, you will have the option to pay in installments, with one third payable on subscribing, the second payment to be processed on July 11, 2022, and the third payment to be processed on August 15, 2022. Tickets for the next season will not be available electronically or by mail until full payment is received. 

  • I’m not comfortable attending indoor performances yet. What happens if I do not renew my subscription package?

    Good news!  If you are a subscriber to a curated package, your subscription seats and your subscriber status are guaranteed through to the 2023-2024 season.  If you are a subscriber to a Create Your Own package, you retain your subscriber status through to the 2023-2024 season. 

  • Can I include Broadway Across Canada performances in my package?

    Unfortunately, Broadway performances cannot be included in our packages; however, tickets to shows through to Fall 2022 are on sale on a per show basis now. 

  • How do I receive my ticket by mail instead of electronically?

    If you’d rather pay $5 to have your tickets mailed to you, please contact the NAC Box Office at 1 844 985-2787 (ARTS).  Tickets are mailed in August.

  • I’d prefer not to renew online. What are my other options?

    You can renew your subscription by phone or in person at the box office located at the Canal Foyer Level at the National Arts Centre. Please have your show selections, dates and a few options of preferred seating locations / price ranges ready when contacting us.

    May:  Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 
    June: Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

    In Person* NAC Box Office, 1 Elgin Street 
    May: Monday to Saturday 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
    June: Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

    *From May 19 to June 17, subscribers can renew in person at the NAC Box Office Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. 
    NOTE: Due to current workplace health and safety protocols, patrons will experience long wait times if renewing in person. 

  • When will I receive my tickets?

    If your tickets are being mailed, you will receive them in August.  If you chose to manage your tickets in your NAC Account, you can either log into your account to view and print your tickets as your event draws near or you can add your tickets to your mobile device’s digital wallet. 

  • What happens if I lose my tickets?

    If you lose your subscription tickets simply contact the NAC Box Office at 1-844-985-2787 to obtain replacement tickets. 

    If you realize that you no longer have your ticket only when you arrive for the performance, go directly to the Box Office to obtain replacement tickets. Please have a government-issued identification upon pick-up. 

    If you chose to manage your tickets in your NAC Account, you can log into your account to manage your digital tickets.   

  • How do I add a donation to my subscription package?

    When renewing your subscription online, there will be a prompt to donate.  If renewing by phone or in person, you can let the agent know that you wish to donate.  A donation can also be made anytime through our online donation form.
