The O’Born Room, the National Arts Centre’s spectacular new event space, hosted its first reception on September 26th, 2017.
As the first few guests entered the 2,700 square-foot room and gazed upon its spectacular views of Ottawa landmarks such as the Parliament Buildings and Château Laurier, gasps could be heard. “Beautiful!” “Stunning!” “What a view!” The comments were music to the ears of Nelson Borges, NAC General Manager of Food and Beverage Services. The O’Born and Lantern rooms are now open on the upper level of the new NAC atrium.
“After almost two years of planning and construction, we’re in business,” said Borges. “It’s well worth the wait.”
