Lance Cardinal is a Two-Spirited Indigenous artist and member of the Bigstone Cree Nation in Territory 8 in Alberta.

Through puppetry, artistry and music, Lance demonstrates activities that kids, parents, and teachers can do together while sharing Cree words and teachings in a fun and inviting way, with encouragement and kindness, for ALL people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous.

Lance’s workshop is a 30- to 45-minute art tutorial built on a project that participants will finish during the workshop.

The National Youth and Education Trust is the NAC’s primary source of funding for initiatives that nurture and develop the creativity of children and youth, and support the educators and artists who challenge and encourage them.
