The stories featured in Indigenous Cities are inspired by memories shared by Indigenous community members living in Ottawa, Saskatoon, Vancouver and Montreal. The memories have been interpreted by Indigenous performing artists in these cities, and turned into audio offerings.
NAC Indigenous Theatre has worked closely in partnership with Savage Society, Gordon Tootoosis Nīkānīwin Theatre and The National Theatre School’s Indigenous Advisory Circle to ensure that we are honouring the unique Indigenous communities living in the regions of Vancouver, Saskatoon and Montreal.
