Share the Spirit

Give the gift of live performance

Together with our Community Partners, the NAC will Share the Spirit by offering free concerts, dance and theatre tickets to deserving families this holiday season and throughout the year.

What is Share the Spirit?

Not everyone can attend a show at the NAC, be it for economic or health reasons. Share the Spirit enables deserving children and their families as well as other vulnerable populations in the National Capital Region to enjoy the performing arts free of charge at the NAC. Last year, the NAC provided over 2,500 complimentary tickets to individuals through community partners to experience the wonder of live performance.

We hope that you will support Share the Spirit in its tenth season to bring the magic of live performance to many more.

“Last night Maisy, her grandparents and I attended the Orchestra at the NAC. She missed out on a year and a half of her violin lessons due to her treatment but has been able to resume practice for the past year or so. Thank you to the NAC and their Share the Spirit program for sharing the beautiful music with us.”

How does it work?

The NAC gives tickets to the Community Partners listed below, who then distribute them to the children and families that benefit from their programs. This way children and families who might not otherwise be able to come to the NAC get the chance to see world-class performances at the NAC for free.
