Since 2005, Adeline Flaun has been developing her career as an artist between Barcelona and her native island, Martinique. She worked with many mentors and is trained in several acting techniques (Meisner, Decroix, etc). She also acquired training in playwriting at the Sala Beckett in Barcelona while participating in theatre, television and film projects for the Spanish and French markets. In both territories, she performs, writes and directs her own creations or those commissioned by other artists.
In 2021, she obtained a Master's degree in Theatre Studies at the Institut del Teatre (Barcelona). After several collaborations with Tropiques Atrium Scène Nationale de Martinique, including her latest creation "Moi Dispositif Venus", she is currently working on a new contemporary project called "...et quelques souvenirs". The project is supported by the Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris, Zones Théâtrales, l'agence Etc Caraïbe and the Centre des auteurs dramatiques (CEAD).
André Gélineau is an artist from the Eastern Townships who has collaborated as a playwright and director with several cultural organizations including the Petit Théâtre de Sherbrooke, La Seizième, Sporobole and the Théâtre des Petites Lanternes. He was the artistic director of the Théâtre Turcs Gobeurs d'Opium and the Théâtre du Double signe. His texts have earned him participation in the Festival du Jamais Lu, Zones Théâtrales and Dramaturgies en dialogue. He is currently working on the Sainte-Johanne-des-Calvettes project, which focuses on rites in isolated territories and the concept of confinement.
Cédric MABUDU is an actor and playwright from Benin. He made his debut in Benin with the Theatre collective LES SANS FRONTIERES in 2017. In 2018 he entered the EITB (International School of Theater of Benin) and professionalizes in Art and Technique of Theater.
Winner in 2019 of the STUDIO ECHAFAUDAGES (Project initiated by the association SUDCREA with the support of the Institut Français de Cotonou, CNES Chartreuse de Villeneuve, CEAD Quebec) he benefited in 2020 from a writing residency grant under the support of the CNES Chartreuse de Villeneuve and SUDCREA.
Settled in Senegal since 2021, he is welcomed in artistic residency at the KENU Center the LABORATORY OF IMAGINATIONS, where he experiments new forms of writing and techniques of Theatre with the FABRIQUE DES POSSIBLES.
As an intern for the 2021-2024 class at the LABO ELAN (Burkina-Faso) as an author, he receives dramaturgical support and is proposed by the RECREATRALES at the EN ACTE(S)//Les CONTEMPORAINES festival in Lyon in 2022.
In the same year, his texts are put into voice and are performed at the festivals LES CONTEMPORAINES, CONVERGENCE PLATEAU, ACCOLADES EAUX PLURIELLES, AURILLAC in France and FITHELYCOB in Benin.
Marie-Claire is a playwright, director and actor originally from Treaty 4 Territories, Saskatchewan. She is based in Tkarón:to/Toronto and wherever life takes her. She has taken part in residencies in Canada (Banff Centre - Leighton Studios), Belgium (Centre des écritures dramatiques W-B), France (La Chartreuse) and more recently in Martinique (ETC Caraïbes, Zones Théâtrales, CEAD). Her plays Flush and Peau, published by Éditions L'Interligne, have received awards and nominations in Canada and France. She also continues to contribute to the ideation and co-writing of several stage and television texts. Her screenwriting has been recognized at the Los Angeles Film Awards, the Canadian Screen Awards and the Webfest Berlin. She is currently writing her next play Forèsse-noire/Déliquescence and is preparing to direct her first movie, Rêver en néon, which she also wrote. She is a graduate of the International School of Acting in Reggio Emilia, Italy and George Brown College theatre program, in Toronto.
