Born in Congo and now living in Quebec, singer-songwriter Pierre Kwenders was introduced to music through choral singing. Nowadays he gets audiences up and dancing to a mix of traditional and modern African rhythms. After participating in Radio Radio’s album Hâvre de grâce, he released two EPs of his own, Whisky & Tea (2013) and African Dream (2013), both produced by ex Radio Radio member Nom de Plume. Pierre has appeared at the FrancoFolies de Montréal and the POP Montreal international music festival.
