Céleste Lévis grew up in Timmins, Ontario. Music came into her life relatively late, after serious health problems forced her to give up all sporting activities. In her darkest moments, music gave her a second life.
Céleste released her debut album, Céleste, in 2015. Since then, she has continued her upward trajectory with a series of shows on her cross-Canada tour. Other milestones for the singer-songwriter include winning “Best Virtual Show of the Year” at the 2021 Capital Music Awards, opening for Francis Cabrel on his 2016 Quebec tour, a nomination at the ADISQ Gala for Adult-Contemporary Album of the Year (for Céleste), and multiple nominations at the Trille Or Gala, the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards (NOMFA), and the Capital Music Awards.
Céleste self-produced her second album, Donne-moi le temps (September 2018), and its successor, Noël tout autour (November 2020). Her third French-language album, Si tu veux tout savoir, was released in fall 2021. She hopes to continue to delight audiences across Canada with her songs.
