Enjoy a musical evening with the Orchestre de la Francophonie and its guest artist, renowned violinist Kerson Leong. The Orchestre de la Francophonie (OF) was established in 2001 during the Fourth Francophone Games in Ottawa–Hull. Led by artistic director and principal conductor Jean‑Philippe Tremblay, the OF is an exceptional springboard for the best young musicians from Quebec and Canada who wish to pursue an international career with a professional ensemble.  This performance will be conducted by Simon Rivard.

For this concert, the OF welcomes Canadian violinist Kerson Leong, Junior First Prize winner at the 2010 Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. Hailed as Radio‑Canada’s “Discovery of the Year” (classical music) in 2014–15, Leong is considered one of the most promising violinists of his generation.
