IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION AND STREET CLOSURES FOR JUNE 20 AND 21
June 19, 2014 – OTTAWA (Canada) – The National Arts Centre wishes to advise all patrons that they may face significant challenges getting to, and parking nearby, the NAC during the weekend of June 20 and 21.
This weekend marks the beginning of the Ottawa Jazz Festival and on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21, the on-ramp from Queen Elizabeth Drive to Laurier Avenue West and the Northbound lane of Queen Elizabeth Drive at Somerset Street will be closed between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. both evenings. Traffic exiting NAC parking garage will be permitted to continue south onto Queen Elizabeth Drive.
The National Arts Centre underground parking garage will be open both days. Please bear in mind that it is a public garage and parking spaces are filled on a first come-first served basis. A ticket to an NAC performance does not guarantee a parking spot in the NAC garage. Patrons may experience significant delays in entering or exiting the NAC garage during these times. Parking entrances are located on Elgin St. at the corner of Slater St. and on Albert St.
For additional information, and a list of alternate parking possibilities, visit the NAC website at nac-cna.ca
