Announces auditions for the following vacancy:

Principal HORN

effective the 2025-2026 Season or earliest availability

National auditions will be held in Ottawa, September 11-12, 2024
Candidates advancing from these auditions will be asked to return for a final round on September 18, 2024.
Travel assistance will be provided for the final round as needed.

National auditions are open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only.

Season: 46 weeks including concerts, broadcasts, opera, ballet, recordings, tours and 5 weeks paid vacation

Salary: Minimum scale, 2024-2025: $2,172 per week (salary for this position to be negotiated)

The members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra are Canadian members of the American Federation of Musicians.
