Caroline Laurin-Beaucage's REBO(U)ND to dazzle Ottawa!
NAC Dance brings its programming to the audience! From October 18 to 31, you can witness REBO(U)ND, an eight-minute visual masterpiece by Quebec artist and choreographer Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, on the Kipnes Lantern. REBO(U)ND is an evocative visual experience of haunting beauty, embodying the sensations of abandon and liberty evoked by dance.
“I’m thrilled to invite audiences to witness this gorgeous and unique dance work on the NAC’s Kipnes Lantern. At times intimate and playful, at times larger than life, you’ll be riveted by the grandeur of REBO(U)ND as it transforms this urban landscape.”
- Cathy Levy, Executive Produce, NAC Dance
At the crossroad of danse, video projection and theatre, REBO(U)ND tells us all about that magical and infinitesimal moment when the performer floats, between momentum and falling, when the human body seems to defy space and time. After Montreal, Toronto and Philadelphia, and Vancouver, it's time for Ottawa and Gatineau audiences to experience REBO(U)ND this fall!
How to watch?
REBO(U)ND will be shown on the NAC's Kipnes Lantern from October 18 to 31, 7pm-11pm.
REBO(U)ND is created and produced by choreographer Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, Montréal Danse, Lorganisme and HUB Studio.
