Writing is too much for me now. Why not a movie?
The Theatre stage is transformed into a movie set where a group of actors and their director are trying to decide on the subject of their next film. Our performers are Anne Marie Cadieux, Jean Alibert and Marie-Thérèse Fortin, acting (out) under the direction of Christian Lapointe.
A daring and uncompromising artist and a passionate and inquisitive explorer, Christian is a strikingly original figure on the contemporary theatre scene. He is known for unorthodox productions (of his own plays and of liberal reworkings of texts by other artists) that challenge assumptions and defy convention. In this case he has chosen two works by Marguerite Duras, two rich and sophisticated pieces that probe the relationship not only between men and women but between text, performer and character. A penetrating look at love and performance and their possible outcome.
And always the sea, and the sound of the wind and the waves.
