“Small format, big fun ”
Step outside the NAC on a beautiful February day, and step into a BIG BANG Music Room like no other. Bring your jacket and boots for this one as we have a secret and special shelter in store, the perfect space to meet Sylvia Cloutier. It is time to get to know the musical traditions of Inuit Nunangat (the land where Inuit live), through song, storytelling and dance.
Put on your tuque, feel the beat of the drum, and embrace the experience!

About 15 minutes long and performed in unique spaces, these mini-concerts make a truly great musical experience for familes. Enjoy the casual atmosphere, as artists perform for small audience groups, tucked away in intimate and mysterious settings.
There are three different Music Rooms options this festival. Choose a single micro-concert or all of them—it’s up to you! These miniature performances can be enjoyed in sequence or as a quick break in between other shows.
