Chantale Boulianne & Sara Létourneau
“Small format, big fun”
Saguenay-based artists Sara Létourneau and Chantale Boulianne will capture your imagination as they build a giant instrument before your very eyes. Using just everyday objects, they will produce a whole range of sounds and something magical. Get ready to witness intense and frenzied musical carpentry, leading up to the formation of music box like you've never seen before.
This performance is a segment of Ce qui reste quand la peau se détache du corps, which has been presented in several Canadian venues and festivals since 2021. At the crossroads of performance, sound art and installation, this inventive work will leave a lasting impression.
