This 90-minute life-drawing session allows students to capture the dynamic beauty of powwow dances and their regalia on their own paper while learning about how dance and culture can be healing to generational trauma caused by residential schools. Participants will work with an art facilitator to create drawings that capture both the movement of the dancers and their regalia.
This session can accommodate up to 60 participants, $10 per participant.
Space is limited – please register directly with Kerry Corbiere, Education Coordinator for Indigenous Theatre (kerry.corbiere@nac-cna.ca).
