Leverage For Mountains (LFM) is an independent folk trio, made up of Nick Loyer, Jay Trépanier and Jay Flynn. The Gatineau band’s rich acoustics and powerful vocal harmonies are the key to their swift rise to popularity.

In 2022, the trio launched their second record, Love Out of the Dark, at a sold-out show at Salle JeanDesprèz in Gatineau. This makes LFM record-breakers, the first emerging group or artist to sell out the venue so quickly! 

LFM also performed excerpts from their songs on social media to promote themselves outside of the concert hall scene. That’s how they were discovered by Marc Friedenberg, manager of the Los Angeles band Jamestown Revival.

When it comes to LFM and their minimalist approach to music, less is more. They combine striking harmonies with powerful lyrics to win over audiences and keep them coming back for another listen.
