Created in 1992, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards are Canada’s highest honour in the performing arts. This year’s laureates for Lifetime Artistic Achievement are :

  • James Kudelka
  • Rosemarie Landry
  • k.d lang.

The Ramon John Hnatyshyn Award for Voluntarism in the Performing Arts will be given to:

  • John Kim Bell

And the National Arts Centre Award will be presented to:

  • Paul Sun-Hyung Lee
