Enjoy a public masterclass with Hans Jørgen Jensen showcasing cellists participating in the NAC’s internationally acclaimed Young Artists Program.
Hans Jørgen Jensen is currently a Professor of Cello at Northwestern University and a faculty member of Meadowmount School of Music. His students have won prizes in numerous national and international competitions. Mr. Jensen studied at the Juilliard School with Leonard Rose and Channing Robbins and pursued private studies with Pierre Fournier.
About the Young Artists Program (YAP):
The Young Artists Program, founded by Pinchas Zukerman in 1999 and now in its 21st edition, offers outstanding private instruction and chamber music coaching with additional career-related sessions and mentoring as well as performance opportunities including public chamber music concerts, public masterclasses, closed works-in-progress sessions and recitals.
