The ten-day festival will weave together a profoundly rich and unprecedented experience of Beethoven. Music Director Alexander Shelley dives right in on opening night by sharing his point of view and the concept of the Beethoven Series.  

Be energized by Alexander’s passion and learn the many facets of Beethoven: the creative musical genius of the composer as well as his personality and philosophical outlook. Alexander will explain how Beethoven’s first symphony was different from the great models of his day and how his  interest in philosophy, literature and world events influenced his work.
