"Giselle is a ballet that I have chosen because it’s one of the most important ballets in history and it still holds a fascination to dancers and viewers alike."   Ivan Cavallari

North American Premiere

NAC Presentation

Giselle is one of the most beloved of the great ballets, and we are thrilled to present the North American premiere of this glorious interpretation by Les Grands Ballets’ recently appointed Artistic Director Ivan Cavallari. Based on the well-known version by Coralli and Perrot, this special engagement will showcase the company’s classical technique and virtuosity. From the love story arc in the first Act, to the ethereal dancing of the mystical Wilis characters in Act II, the graceful beauty of this classical romantic ballet will charm and captivate you.
