Join Eliza Chandler for a free lecture as part of the Ottawa Art Gallery’s series Seriously Creative, a talk series highlighting creative leaders from across Canada whose practices intentionally leverage the arts in service of transformation and social change.

Eliza Chandler is Assistant Professor at the School of Disability Studies at Ryerson University. She is the co-director of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)-funded partnership project, Bodies in Translation: Activist Art, Technology, and Access to Life, a project that interrogates the connections between art and the achievement of social justice. Chandler is a practicing curator and, prior to her current roles, she was the Artistic Director of Tangled Art + Disability and founding Director of Tangled Art Gallery.
