For a second year generous National Arts Centre ticket buyers are giving the magic of the performing arts to deserving children and their families by donating to the Share the Spirit program at the NAC Box Office during the holiday season.
Members of the NAC Box Office team are championing Share the Spirit by encouraging patrons to make a donation to this inspiring program, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Since the beginning of November, the Box Office team has raised over $4,500 toward the program, and is on track to surpass last year’s $5,000 goal by December 24th!
That means that throughout the holidays, and over the 2013–2014 season, even more children and their families will be able to see performances like Handel’s Messiah, The Nutcracker, and Gretel & Hansel for free. National Arts Centre Box Office Assistant Devon Hansen says “No matter the amount you contribute to Share the Spirit, it’s a donation that will build lifelong memories for kids and families alike”.
