NAC to bring Canadian performing artists to Expo 2025 Osaka

Full line-up to be announced in Japan next month!

The National Arts Centre (NAC) is partnering with Global Affairs Canada to present a powerful line-up of performing artists at World Expo in Osaka, Kansai, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The cultural programming will be curated by the NAC’s Executive Producer for Popular Music and Variety, Heather Gibson, showcasing the breadth and diversity of Canada’s vibrant artistic scene throughout Expo 2025 Osaka.

With an anticipated 28 million visitors over six months, Expo 2025 Osaka will be an amazing opportunity for Canadian live performing artists in music, theatre and dance to present the rich tapestry of Canada’s performing arts to audiences in Japan.

Expo 2025 Osaka will explore the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” aiming to foster worldwide cooperation in building a society where everyone can pursue their own way of life and demonstrate their own potential to the fullest.
