En orbite dans la Philosphère

initiation to philosophical discussion with Stéphanie Boyer
Francophone Theatre Workshops

In school

Take the leap into philosophical discussion.

With Stéphanie Boyer as your guide to answering life's big questions, join the Philosphere, a free space where ideas can be launched into orbit!

During this workshop, you’ll be guided step by step through a philosophical discussion, which consists of asking questions together, without judging. Drawing from a children's book and the participants' own experiences, ideas can be brainstormed around one of the following themes (your choice):

  1. poetry and its place in our lives
  2. migration and the refugee experience
  3. issues of gender and perception
  4. our relationship with nature

P.S. If you have a particular topic you’d like to discuss with your students, let us know, and we'll consider it.

Objectives (e.g., link to curriculum) :

  • Reading and enjoying literary works
  • Thinking about ethical issues
  • Communicating verbally and participating in a dialogue
