Preschool–Grade 1 Theatre Dance Workshops

Available from January 2021

Duration: 45-60 minutes
Maximum number of participants: 15-20 in preschool // 25-30 children in elementary school
Offered to students in class only (Teacher must be present)
Offered in English or in French

Using fun and easy-to-follow instructions, choreographer Hélène Langevin invites children to explore the alphabet by moving freely and expressing themselves with their bodies. Alone or in a group, how can you create 2D letters with 3D bodies?

A lively and playful creative dance workshop for children ages 4 to 6.

Objectives:

  • Developing gross motor skills
  • Experimenting with spontaneous body movement
  • Expressing ideas through dance
  • Cooperating with others
  • Building self-esteem
