Gabriela Montero Plays Mozart

From the self-confidence of Don Juan's opening flourish, to the tender wooing melodies and final pizzicato thuds of his demise, Richard Strauss miraculously depicts love and humanity in tonight's featured concert by the NAC Orchestra, from March of 2016.  Our great friend, the Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero, brought her extraordinary gifts to Southam Hall through an inspired performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20.  Listen for an especially Canadian twist at the end!
