Extended with Additional Performance

Tickets on sale Saturday

Arriving hot off a sold-out run at Theatre Calgary, Pride and Prejudice has proven to be just as popular at the NAC.  With strong ticket demand leading up to next week’s opening, the NAC English Theatre has added a matinee performance on Sunday, December 9 at 2 p.m..

Tickets for the added performance go on public sale Saturday, November 17 at 10 a.m.

The romantic world of Regency England is brought to vivid life in this sparkling new adaptation by Janet Munsil of Jane Austen’s classical masterpiece about love, family, and the politics of marriage.

When the independent minded Elizabeth Bennet meets the enigmatic Mr. Darcy, her opinions on marriage are profoundly tested. Can he overcome his pride and she her prejudice to make an ideal match in a society where social standing outweighs personal feeling? You’ll delight in watching the sparks fly.

This NAC English Theatre/Theatre Calgary co-production now plays November 21 thru December 9 in the NAC Theatre.
