Where can I find the Donors’ Circle Office?

The NAC Donors’ Circle is now located in the Canal Foyer of the NAC at 1 Elgin Street.

How do I update my credit card information?

Please call the Donors’ Circle office at (343) 588-1340 to speak to one of our representatives. For security reasons, please do not send credit card information by email or leave it by voicemail.

Who do I list as payee on my donation cheque?

All cheques can be made payable to the National Arts Centre Foundation and sent to 1 Elgin Street, PO Box 1534, Station B, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 5W1

How do I purchase/exchange tickets to an upcoming NAC performance?

We are pleased to offer ticket purchase/exchange service to our Circles level donors ($1000+) and for our Emeritus Circle donors.

Circles level donors may purchase tickets by using the Contact us form. Please indicate the performance date, time and seating preference. A Donors’ Circle representative will contact you during regular business hours to complete your request.

Circles level donors may also exchange tickets up until the day before the performance that you are unable to attend for any NAC Orchestra, Dance and Theatre performances (some exceptions apply).

Exchanges are subject to availability and there are no service charges for our Circles levels donors ($1000+) and for our Emeritus Circle donors. Tickets must be exchanged for performances in the same season. If the performance for which you exchange your tickets is more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference.

I can’t make it to an upcoming NAC performance, can I donate my tickets for a tax receipt?

Patrons can donate their tickets, up until the day before the performance that you are unable to attend, for most NAC Orchestra, Dance or Theatre performances (some exceptions apply).

Please send a detailed e-mail to using the subject line “Donate my tickets”. . Be sure to include your contact information (including day/evening phone number).

We will cancel your tickets and mail you an official income tax receipt for charitable purposes for the value of the tickets.

Requests are handled Monday to Friday 9a.m. to 5p.m. If you require assistance outside of these hours, please contact the NAC Box Office at (844) 985-2787.

Can you tell me more about Free Donor Events?

We are pleased to offer a selection of open rehearsals and previews to our Donors’ Circle, Corporate Circle, and Emeritus Circle supporters. Eligibility is based on donor level:

Producers, Directors, Maestros, Playwrights and Emeritus ($1,000+) All events
Benefactors ($500+) 5 events
Sustainers ($250+) 3 events
Associates ($100+) 1 event

There are no tickets issued for open rehearsals; If you are interested in attending an open rehearsal, you can sign up during the event’s respective registration window and we will add you to the attendance list. The easiest way to register is by filling out the online registration form, which will be available on the rehearsal event page at the beginning of each registration period.
