Les Contes Nomades
The actor-storyteller Alexis Roy, better known under the name Alexis Le Conteur, has been practising his craft for many years. He is a storyteller, clown, dancer and actor. With his own unique style of movement he draws inspiration from Quebec folklore, offering comic spins on traditional tales. He likes to say that he presents stories in movement as he tells tales created with his accomplice Johanne Alice Côté. Hold on to your hats, there’s a strong storytelling wind a-blowin’!

Opening act:Claude Garneau, dit Le Pére Garneau
Pére Garneau is a Franco-Ontarian storyteller from Orléans, and a member of the Cercle des conteurs de l’est de l’Ontario. He concocts humorous tales based on stories by his alleged ancestor Théophile Garneau, liberally embellishing the adventures of Ti-Louis, a young boy living in Abitibi during the Second World War.
