Join us in celebrating five years of vibrant storytelling, cultural resilience, and hope as we mark the 5th anniversary of Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre. Over the past half-decade, we have had the honour to share Indigenous stories—our stories—in our own voices.

These stories carry the power to transform and heal.  They hold the cultural knowledge of this land – knowledge that breaks down barriers, opens hearts and minds, and reflects the deep interconnectedness of all things.

Our journey would not be possible without those who came before us. With each performance, initiative, and gathering, we strive to preserve and uplift Indigenous artistic practices. We create spaces where new voices can emerge, cultural resurgence can thrive, and inspiration can flow. This work is dedicated to our ancestors, our communities, and the generations yet to come.

Join us on November 20th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., for a celebration filled with music, food, and entertainment as we reflect on five years of powerful storytelling and look forward to many more to come.

Thank you to...
We would like to express our profound gratitude to the host Algonquin Nation. The care and generosity of elders, artists, and community members in offering their support through the exchange of protocol and knowledge gives meaning and context to everything we do here on the traditional, unceded, unsurrendered territory.

We thank you with all our hearts.
