Carlos Alberto Santana is an active Latin Jazz pianist and composer in the National Capital Region. Carlos Alberto, originally from Mexico City, has led several musical projects for more than 20 years in Canada by promoting original works. In 2015, "Oye Latino" album was successfully released and presented at the NAC. A second album, "La Azotea" was released at the end of 2020. For this show, along with his core team integrated by Alvaro de Minaya (Drums and Percussions), Daniel Chavolla (Bass),  and Jasmin Lalande (Sax and Flute), he will present new material including quartet and solo compositions from his upcoming new release by late 2024. Among Carlos Alberto's greatest influences are Ernesto Lecuona, Astor Piazzolla, Cesar Camargo Mariano and Mario Ruiz Armengol.
