Maïa’s musical universe is unique. This free-spirited Franco-Japanese singer, flautist, songwriter, composer and arranger blends traditional Japanese singing (which she calls “Nippon blues”) with electro, pop and rap, and writes lyrics in French and Japanese. Her modernity stems from her ability to fuse her ancestral musical influences with contemporary sounds, bringing her two cultures together with the energy of a punk shaman!
