  Artist JP Cali Smoov grew up in LA and spent part of his life in Chicago but is a West Coast Rapper. Cali is well known in the battle rap world where he worked with Snoop Dogg, Mally Mall and Dizaster. He has also collaborated musically with Wiz Khalifa, Bizarre, Edi Mean, JPZ and more. As a kid, Cali had a rough upbringing with heavy street influence and even spending a portion of youth in foster care and group homes. At the age of 11, he was discovered by Leila Steinberg – the same woman who managed and mentored Tupac; who helped Cali find his voice and purpose. Not long after, Cali changed his life around and committed himself to making music and inspiring other at-risk youth. Cali travels around the US and the world to encourage at risk-youth and help them find their own voices.

  Cali Smoov was the winner of Snoop Dogg’s battle rap show (YouTube/Trapflix) where he out-rapped 11 other aspiring rappers. In 2017, he collaborated with platinum artist ‘Wiz Khalifa’ on “This is Your Moment,” which reached #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts. In 2018, Cali reached #16 on Amazon’s poetry Best Sellers List and has since released a series of “Poetry” themed books based on mental health. Smoov also took on roles as an aspiring actor. He’s appeared in multiple national commercials. In 2023 Cali starred in Hitman Holla’s reality show ‘Bag$ and Bodies’ on Roku and YouTube Premium. Cali also starred in web series ‘Grey Area’, appeared in Eminem’s feature film “Bodied” and in 2020 starred in a episode of Sling TV Barstool Sports series ‘The Nicest’.

  PORICH is a battle rapper from Whitby, ON. Described by WU Tang's Raekwon the Chef as a "nasty mother," and by battle rap legend Pat Stay as "kinda guy who watches SportsDesk and thinks I could use that".   Apex has been battling consistently for just under 10 years, with battles primarily on BeastMode, and a few others across many leagues including CRB, Ibattle, and most recently KOTD. Some high profile battles include opponents like Award and Emmerson Kennedy, among others. Apex won the BeastMode title in 2022 and has since defended the title 1x. With a layered punchline heavy style, and a decorated resume, Apex is quickly becoming one of the best battlers in Canada.
