  Wise Atangana is a Canadian performer, songwriter and motivational speaker, originally from Cameroon in central Africa. Wise’s a multi-disciplinary artist, dedicated to feeding hungry souls and inspiring the hearts and minds of people from all over the world in order to promote community and social change. In his mother tongue Ewondo, the name “Atangana” means storyteller, communicator, or master of ceremonies. From a young age, Wise’s grandparents emphasized to him the wisdom that comes through oral storytelling. In the small village where he grew up, stories were told around a fire every night, and were the central medium for passing on knowledge. Now an adult, Wise continues to practice the art of storytelling through a mix of Cameroonian folk music, Afrobeats, Hip-hop, and Slampoetry to inspire and motivate youth and all ages whilst boosting self-esteem and promoting social change. For those who are teachers, bookers, influencer, community leaders, event organizer, Wise Atangana is a force!
