Adventurous chamber-jazz quartet based in Toronto & Berlin plays trumpeter Lina Allemano’s striking original music. Allemano is recognized as one of the leading innovative trumpeters on the scene today in both cities and across the globe. The band has been called “stunning”, “captivating”, and “essential”, and is known for their telepathic group interaction, seamless improvisations and evocative sonic explorations. The quartet has toured extensively across Europe, USA and Canada, and recorded 7 internationally-acclaimed albums during their 18 years together. Their album Vegetables (Lumo Records) was nominated for 2022 JUNO Awards Jazz Album of the Year (Group) and the band was included in 2022 DownBeat Magazine Annual Critics Poll list for 'Rising Star Jazz Group’. Their newest album, Pipe Dream, is out May 2023 on Lumo Records.
