Marc-Antoine Joly is a singer-songwriter and producer from Hawkesbury who is inspired by folk arrangements, rock rhythms and emo lyrics. A multi-instrumentalist, he performs with his band The Great Diversion, and as a freelance musician with Céleste Lévis, Les rats d’swompes, Le Groupe Swing, Gabrielle Goulet and many others. In 2020, he earned public recognition when he won the “Guitarist of the Year” and “Singer of the Year” awards presented by FrancoMusique.
His first EP, Au plus bas, showcased JOLY’s distinctively dense music and unique vocal quality. Now, following the March 2023 release of his latest album, DEUIL, Marc-Antoine and his faithful bandmates Simon Joly and Patrick Harrison invite music lovers to attend their show Évade-toi.
