Singer-songwriter Willows’ work is fiercely authentic, a delicate folk blend of acoustic instruments and French, English and Michif vocal harmonies. She’s an experienced musician and singer—you may have caught her on stage with the electro-pop group CHANCES, of which she’s a founding member, or as a musician and singer in the show Danse Lhasa Danse, or maybe as a backing vocalist in Hemenetset by Jorane.
Her new album, Maison vent, is a collection of personal songs with women as a central theme: the women in her life, the women who came before her and her own experience as a Franco-Manitoban Red River Métis woman now living in Montréal.
