Nick Schofield is a live electronic musician based in Gatineau, Quebec proudly serving as an ambassador of ambient music. His 2021 album Glass Gallery was created with a vintage Prophet-600 synthesizer and is inspired by the light and space of the National Gallery of Canada. In concert, Glass Gallery features the Prophet-600 fully illuminated with displays of sparkling arpeggios and lush harmonic waves presented as sonic analogs of the architecture and artwork that inspired the album. Nick Schofield has performed at Place des Arts in Montreal, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, National Sawdust in New York City, and previously opened for Angel Olsen, Colin Stetson, Sarah Davachi and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. Glass Gallery received positive press coverage from CBC Q, Bandcamp Daily, Montreal Gazette, and Aquarium Drunkard wrote that "Nick Schofield has emerged as a dazzling electronic musician."
