Lisa LeBlanc wrote most of the songs on her debut album in her home village of Rosaireville, New Brunswick (population: 40), during her studies at the École nationale de la chanson in Granby, Quebec, and in her adopted city of Montreal, where she has lived for a year. Produced by Louis Jean Cormier (of Karkwa) and recorded at Montreal’s Piccolo Studio, the eponymous album was released in March 2012 on the Bonsound label.

This talented young Acadian singer-songwriter and accomplished guitarist comes from a family of music lovers, and wrote her first songs at 16. She has shared the stage with several top-name artists, and in September 2010 she placed first at the prestigious Granby International Song Festival, an honour that brought her to the attention of the French-language media across the country. In 2011 she appeared at the Coup de cœur francophone, the FrancoFolies de Montréal, and the Festival d’été de Québec, among other events. A true show-woman, this 21 year old artist has given more than 200 performances across Canada and in France and Switzerland, and knows how to liven up an evening and get her audience dancing in the aisles! She brings her boundless energy, joie de vivre, charisma, sincerity, and of course her beautiful voice and her music to every show. Lisa’s goal is simple: to sing as often as possible—to her fans’ great delight!
