Purnima Studios presents Kirtan Paradiso! Bader Soma is a Montreal-based Canadian artist. He has released three albums so far. Bader will be playing his third album “Govinda’s Grace” in its entirety with his band. The album contains all original compositions in a devotional style called “kirtan”, and the songs are in a call-and-response format. As part of the bhakti yoga tradition, Kirtan is singing to the Divine, with feeling. Such singing has a benign effect on both the physical and subtle bodies. It is an excellent method of soothing the nerves and directing the emotions to a positive goal. Kirtan melts the heart, fills the mind with purity and generates harmony and Divine love. This is Bader’s second time playing at the NAC, and third time touring North America. Bader has performed several times in Montreal, Toronto, and New York, as well as in Sydney and Beirut.
