For over five years and a few hundred concerts, Saratoga has been keeping a watchful eye on the fire of intimate music and stripping songs of their artifice. From major stages to more intimate concerts, Chantal Archambault and Michel-Olivier Gasse have quickly conquered the hearts of audiences across the province. Their first full-length Fleur was released in 2016 and, applauded by the critics, earned them two ADISQ nominations, including “revelation of the year”. Since it is on stage that Saratoga’s sensitive universe unfolds in all its richness, the couple then embarked on a tour of over one hundred and fifty dates in Quebec and Europe. After a brief break in 2018, the duo returns with a second gracious and benevolent album, Ceci est une espèce aimée.
