Shifting between a serious message and a light, sometimes humorous style, the play embarks on a human and artistic quest. The approach of the Bélanger-Brullemans duo reflects a need to reflect on serious issues and to raise important questions. How can forgetfulness be a part of memory? Without falling into evasion or avoidance, how can we alleviate the weight of memory and thus find a way to move forward? For the little girl at the heart of the piece, growing up and fully living life is a way to achieve reconciliation.
