Enjoy a public concert showcasing the 2019 Precollege string students participating in the NAC’s internationally acclaimed Young Artists Program. Five string quartets will perform movements from composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Schubert and others. Together, the 20 students and a double bassist from the senior level will perform Grieg's Holberg Suite.

ABOUT the YAP

The Young Artists Program, founded by Pinchas Zukerman in 1999 and now in its 21st edition, offers outstanding private instruction and chamber music coaching with additional career-related sessions and mentoring as well as performance opportunities including public chamber music concerts, public masterclasses, closed works-in-progress sessions and recitals.

The NAC’s Young Artist Program is made possible through the wonderful generosity of individual donors, corporations, and the NAC’s National Youth and Education Trust.
