On the occasion of its 50th Anniversary, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, under the leadership of Alexander Shelley, is undertaking a European Tour in May 2019, visiting 7 cities in 5 countries. CROSSINGS: the NAC Orchestra 50th Anniversary European Tour will share diverse stories across distances, generations and expectations; break new ground for the orchestral experience and celebrate the best of Canadian performing arts. With adventurous new works, fresh interpretations of classics, and collaborative educational and outreach events, the NAC Orchestra is crossing the spaces between us by telling the stories of our shared humanity.
