Studying under legendary jazz guitarist and composer, Jim Hall, David Occhipinti is a long-standing contributor to the Canadian jazz scene. David’s musical accomplishments have earned him multiple JUNO nominations for his recognized album Forty Revolutions (2007), and collaborative albums Duolgue (2003) and Bristles (2014). With the release of the album Camera (2012), David melds improvisation with contemporary chamber music creating a unique psionic experience. Performing across Canada, U.S., Europe, and Japan, David’s atmospheric compositions invite the audience to experience the music from the inside out.
