The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the NAC Orchestra join forces for an exciting concert featuring NAC Orchestra violinist Jessica Linnebach. This special performance will be a celebration of Canadian talent as part of the NAC Orchestra Canada 150 Tour. The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra will open the concert with local composer John Estacio’s King Arthur Suite. This piece is part of his critically acclaimed score for the ballet King Arthur’s Camelot. The NAC Orchestra will then take the stage with Mozart’s third violin concerto featuring Edmonton-born violinist Jessica Linnebach. The evening culminates with both orchestras taking the stage for Dvořák’s “New World Symphony” – a triumphant finale to this dramatic concert.
