Since their formation in 1994, THE SADIES have developed, even perfected, a style of music that is uniquely their own. With a reverence for the best of country, bluegrass, and blues, they are influenced by everything from 60s garage and psychedelic rock to surf instrumentals and punk. Since their formation in 1994, THE SADIES have developed, even perfected, a style of music that is uniquely their own. With a reverence for the best of country, bluegrass, and blues, they are influenced by everything from 60s garage and psychedelic rock to surf instrumentals and punk. An evening with The Sadies has it all: blistering instrumentals, country rave-ups, superhuman guitar interplay, and mind-blowing psychedelic expeditions that can end up anywhere.

THE WOODEN SKY spent 2014 digging deeper into its sound, after navigating the uncertainty of evolving friendships and changing times. Drawing on the nostalgia of the tunes that inspired them to make music in the first place, the band has created a vital, energetic, raw indie sound that draws on dynamic drumming and vivid guitar playing. With years of touring under their belts and a well-deserved reputation for live shows that venture well beyond the stage, The Wooden Sky always deliver a memorable performance.

And, following a career year that saw him long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize, KALLE MATTSON continues to win fans with cathartic songs full of soaring harmonies.
