Cinéma is the story of Lara, a young woman who is searching for something grand in order to finally feel alive. It is also the story of Xavier, a disillusioned actor who is taking one final chance before giving it all up. Between them, a fictitious spark ignites…or is it real?

Cinéma is a devastating collision of two worlds, one that wants to be seen and one that wants to disappear. After opposites collide, what remains?

This production is an exciting work by emerging playwright MISHKA LAVIGNE, who combines poetic imagery with disconcerting ironic realism.

Presented in French. English surtitles will be offered on Thursday night’s performance.
