Approximately 120 children aged 11-12 from five local schools will spend an afternoon with quintets from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the NAC Orchestra for an “Inspire Day” at the Riverside Museum to learn more about the First World War. Students in attendance will tour the museum and take part in two sessions in which they will hear live music inspired by WW1 performed by each ensemble and will be asked to respond to their musical experience artistically (by drawing)...
